Terms of Service

SupportOS is a helpdesk for small teams: a shared inbox, a knowledge base, an embeddable chat widget, reporting and AI-assisted triage and replies. SupportOS is currently in beta: features may change and the service may be interrupted. We aim to keep it reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• The person who creates a workspace is its administrator and decides who else joins it and with what role.
• You must be authorised to bind the organisation you sign up for.

You keep ownership of everything you and your customers put into SupportOS (“Your Content”). You give us the limited right to host, process and display it to run the service for you, including sending it to AI providers when you use AI features, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the rights and legal basis to process your customers’ data in SupportOS.

You agree not to:

• use SupportOS for anything unlawful, or to send spam, malware or deceptive content;
• attempt to access other workspaces’ data, probe or disrupt the service, or circumvent plan limits;
• reverse engineer the service except where the law permits it, or resell it without our agreement;
• use the AI features to generate content that is unlawful or that impersonates a person.

We may suspend access that breaks these rules or threatens the service or other users.

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate. Suggestions and drafts are meant to be reviewed by a person before they reach a customer. If your workspace enables automatic replies, you are responsible for the confidence threshold you set and for the replies that are sent under it.

SupportOS has a Free plan and paid monthly plans (Starter, Team, Business) with the limits shown on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew monthly until cancelled. You can change or cancel your plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Unless the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refunded. Your Billing page shows your usage against your plan’s limits. If we start enforcing a limit in a way that affects features you rely on, we will tell you first. We may change prices with advance notice before your next renewal.

Where we process personal data in Your Content on your behalf, we do so as your processor under your instructions, and our Privacy Policy describes the processing and our providers. If you need a data processing agreement, contact us.

You may stop using SupportOS and close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or end the service to you for material breach of these terms, with notice where practical. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service we will give reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties beyond those the law does not allow us to exclude. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms. We will publish the new version with its date and, for material changes, tell you in advance. Continuing to use SupportOS after a change takes effect means you accept it.
